Production Control Room

Its 2:45am in the morning when I get to work. This is the Production Control room. I have 2 stations I work at. First off I work on the center left computer for combing through emails for birthday photos. I run them through Photoshop, making sure adjust levels, sharpness and crop for size. I place the information (full name, age, and hometown) in a spreadsheet for printout. I triple check the information before emailing it to the producer. Grab printouts for each necessary person.
When this is complete I treat myself to my mocha coffee.

Then I switch stations to the Chyron/Duet programs on the back left. Its that set of 6 there. The Producer gives me printouts for Fullscreens, CGs, and Updates. I go through and input them in with certain numbers.  Possibly make fullscreens  of my own. Mark my scripts with notes to make everything quicker, easier, and smoother. I usually have time left after this so I go through each cg and spell check it. At 5:30am we start the live news. That ends at 6am on the dot then we have roughly 15 more minutes of news updates to film. After that I comb through emails for the next days birthdays. I finish up at 7:45am.
